Content Organization & Visual Appeal
Designing a website for a resort house and boat vacation destination required a strong focus on UX/UI to create an immersive experience reflecting Northern Minnesota's natural beauty.
One key challenge was structuring content to showcase a diverse range of activities—from ice fishing to shopping, dining, and nature hikes—while ensuring a user-friendly interface. I also developed a mini multisite to feature partner businesses and local attractions.
By emphasizing the resort’s hospitality, I made sure visitors felt as supported online as they would in person. Lastly, I crafted a seamless booking process, allowing users to easily reserve their house and boat retreats with minimal effort.

Voyagaire sought a design-centric website that combined top-tier SEO with a seamless user journey.
Central to their vision was a user experience that appealed to both families with and without children, while effectively showcasing the resort's diverse offerings. My approach centered on crafting an intuitive layout and content hierarchy, ensuring that users could easily navigate and skim through information. Using Figma, I developed mock-ups that integrated visually captivating imagery and clear design elements. Additionally, I facilitated design consultations to ensure that the brand’s essence was authentically reflected in the website, creating a cohesive and engaging user experience.
